On-Site SD-WAN Engineer - Modern Network Solutions

Mitra Karsa Utama is seeking a skilled On-Site SD-WAN Engineer to join our dynamic team in Balikpapan, Kalimantan Timur. In this role, you will work closely with our team to deploy and configure SD-WAN solutions using industry-leading tools such as Cisco Viptela, VMware SD-WAN, and Fortinet SD-WAN. You will ensure that our clients' networks are optimized for speed, security, and reliability, providing them with a robust and scalable infrastructure that meets their business needs.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Design, implement, and maintain SD-WAN solutions for enterprise clients in Balikpapan and surrounding areas.
• Configure and troubleshoot SD-WAN devices using Cisco Viptela, VMware SD-WAN, and Fortinet SD-WAN.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SD-WAN solutions with existing network infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance and proactively address any issues to minimize downtime and maximize uptime.
• Provide technical support and training to clients on the use and maintenance of SD-WAN solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and recommend improvements to our network solutions.
• Document all network configurations and changes for future reference and compliance purposes.
• Participate in on-site visits to client locations to ensure the smooth deployment and operation of SD-WAN solutions.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on SD-WAN technologies.
• Certifications such as CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Data Center, or VMware Certified Professional - Network Virtualization (VCP-NV) are a plus.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, including BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network devices from Cisco, VMware, and Fortinet.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with cloud-based network services and platforms is a plus.
• Ability to travel to client sites in Balikpapan and surrounding areas as required.
